BIO

K. Perkins got her start writing for DC Comics, receiving critical acclaim for her work on their Supergirl, Superwoman, Wonder Woman, and Batwoman titles, the latter of which earned her a GLAAD Award nomination for Best Comic in 2019. She has since written the story of the first Blade Runner in the acclaimed series BLADE RUNNER: ORIGINS for Titan Comics with co-author Mellow Brown.

She has previously developed with NBC Universal, Nickelodeon, and Cartoon Network, and wrote on the live-action TV show PAPER GIRLS (Amazon), based on the award-winning comic book series by Brian K. Vaughan. Other writing includes a horror feature and the narrative for a forthcoming video game from Naughty Dog (the studio behind UNCHARTED and THE LAST OF US).

Perkins is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and is both a former copywriter at ogilvy and A former director of an arts education nonprofit in New York City.
